Quick question

I have a 3.5 cube box tned to 34ish maybe 35 my cuts arent exact lol it was drk i wante to see how tuning lower would sound could i remove one of my ports i have 4 4in round ports could remove one and seal real quick but not sure if that would make it go down or up Help thanks guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

so 3.5 4 4 inch tuned to 34... should come out to about 30 are the ports roughly 27 in long?

All together yea About that i will give it a try and see if i dont lke it i can put it back in lol i have ports for a 44 tune when i go to comps

Just plug one of the ports with something instead of taking it out.

Quick question, cuz Im a little confused. When you punch the numbers in the port calculators and it tells you the length, does that mean length of all the ports added together, or each one needs to be that specific length?

Like, if I put 3 4" ports in a 4.2 cube box, http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/HowTo-1Woofer-Box-CAL%20Port%20lenth%201.htm says they need to be 18" long. Is 18" total for all three (6" each) or 18" for each tube?

I divided it up so mine came out to 27. something i divide by 4 and thats each port and it seems to work lol bt i am not builder more elecitrical kinda guy

its each port. if you divided by 4 then your box is tuned really high
