I have an AQ1200D

and a mach5 ixl 12".

I was suggested to buy a 4 gauge wiring kit, turns out that was not enough.

Took it to a place and i need a 0 gauge kit now.

SO, im looking at knukoncepts here, and they have this

"**NEW** Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Power Kit"

which im sure is all the wiring i need to hook up my amp and sub correct?

thats 89.99.

they also have

"KLM 1/0 Amplifier Installation Kit" for 52.99.

is that also a 0 guage amp installation kit?

will the 1/0 kit above have everything i need? and im pretty sure 1/0 is 0 gauge correct?

here is the page so you guys can look.

I'll take a stab at it...

1/0 ga wire is 1/0 ga wire, as far as conductivity.

Kolossus Fleks has a higher strand count, is extremely flexible and easy to cut, compared to cheap wire. Many consider it the easiest product to install available.

KLM is a different series of wire, and I imagine it's a copper coated aluminum wire like Stinger HPM... but I really don't know. I feel sure that there's a reason they sell it for almost half the price of Fleks though. Probably aluminum wire, though... which is fine if you're on a budget.

So you think the aluminum wiring, if thats what it is, will work ok for my system?

Both should be fine, just one is more flexible and easier to work with.

If you're on a budget, consider welding cable. It's usually ~$3/foot at welding supply stores, and is high strand count copper. The jacket is usually a little larger than standard car audio wire, and can be prone to tearing. Loom around it, and grommet your firewall... and it's good enough for me.

lol shit i wish you replied a few minutes earlier.

just ordered the more expensive cable thinking the other would not work as well.

Oh well, only 40$ more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
