quick question please help

ive just installed a rocksford fosgate 10" sub and Visonik amp and it sounds good, i just want it to be a little better. So what i want to do is replace my factory speakers. the fronts are 4" and the rears are 5 1/4". can i just buy new speakers and hook them up the way the old speakers are, or am i going to have to buy some other stuff.

secondly, i was looking at jl speakers right now, and whats the difference between like coaxials and midrange speakers?
