I have a Massive P400.4 that im bridging to power some Crystal SSCS6's. THe amp is hooked up and has power but im having problems with my speakers. I think its due to the RCA cables installed incorrectly.

Since it is a 4 channel amp, i need a 4 channel RCA correct?...even though im only bridging it to 2 channels? When it comes to the 4 channel RCA, i plug it into the "channel out" in the back of my head unit? There are 4 outputs there. Right now i have all of this hooked up and i was trying to power just 1 speaker to test it and it wasnt working. Any ideas on corrections or problems that could be causing this? Thanks,

Klep

Some 4ch amps will work properly when given only two channels worth of input signal and some won't. As I have no experience with that particular amp I cannot say for sure which variety it might be but if it ends up being of the kind that needs all 4ch worth of input to work right the use of simple Y-splitters can be a cheap fix. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Use the left + right outputs for the front (these should be marked as to which is which) since this is going to feed signal to your front stage amp.

I'm having trouble believing that this isn't a trolling thread considering your join date but it gave me something to do for a minute so whatever...

X2

Not all amps are like that, but some are. Give that a shot.
