Quick question big 3

yes i know ther eis a big 3 thread but there is millions of pages and noone on it, so im gonna ask on here, i know how to do it yes, done it to my old car, my question is on my old car i used a 150amp fuse fro mthe alt+ to the batt + is this even nessecary?? do you need to fuse that line or not?? i have a sunfire, and is 150amp fuse really needed?? will a smaller one work? thanks

I would fuse it to protect the alt and batt i think it was 2000xt or whomever alternator casing melted because he didnt fuse it..what kind of amp/setup are you running?

umm i have 2 infinity kapp perfect 12.1,s running off a Jbl 600.1 amp

either 10 or 12 gauage on the subs and 4 gauge power and ground

Fuse it, you didn't look hard enough. I posted on my thread today about my big3.
