I have an older Punch 150 that I am installing. I was wanting to run an amp turn on lead, but I only have hookups for the (+) and ground. Can I just hook up the turn on lead to the (+), or am I SOL.

That will turn the amp on but it will always be on. You need a wire that is switched either by the radio (best) or the car ignition (good enough). There will be two power wires into the radio for its power, one is a constant hot the other is switched by the key. If you need a siwtched lead, figure out which of the radio wires is the switched one an tap into it.
