i have an L7. now, i want to build a ported box for it. does anyone know what what would be a good size for this box. and, what should i tune it to. i was to have sound quailty but get LOUD to.

I would do 2.5 cubes at 35 hz, but thats because i cant go too much bigger in my trunk.

well mine is 2 cubes at 30, and i def wish it was tuned higher.

and with a 12" l7 I would make the box a little bigger than what i have, so 2.5 possibly even bigger but I would probably just stick to 2.5 with a 12, you coudl get away with 3 or a little bigger.

35 because its a good middle number, youll get ur lows but itll be louder than tuning it lower. What kind of music do u listen to???

I had a 12" L7 in 2.8cu ft. and it was awesome. Was loud for what I expected, and moved nicely for the 600w I was throwing at it.
