quick question about RE sub

I have a RE SE that i'm about to screw into my box, do i screw through the black and the rubber part to?

Are you serious!? Put the screws in the holes and twist clock wise...!?!?!?

if there is no holes in the rubber, then lift up the rubber then shoot screws through where the holes are predrilled then let the rubber lip back down. the rubber lip hides the screws.

i know how to put the screw in. The RE has a rubber coat that i wasnt sure if i had to drill through. Id rather look stupid asking a question like this then to make a big mistake.

Youre not talkin about the surround are you?

There should be 8 holes on the gasket....if not take that off and look under at the actual basket and line it up.
