quick question about mono

i have 2 4 ohm subs wired to 2ohm load.. now my amp is mono.. + - + - i used the left + and right -.. but it cuts out when i turn it up.. then i read the terminals are wired in parallel, so did i just wire it to a 1ohm load? maybe why it cuts out?

You probably have the gain turned up too high. Also, make sure the bass boost is turned off.

i tried wiring the amp both ways, still does it.. gain is 1/4... maybe its cuz the subs are 400rms together and the amp is 1200rms lol **** idk
