Quick Question about COD in Canada

If someone wanted to send me something from across Canada, and I wanted to pay shipping, so it was cash on delivery...does it cost them anything to send it? Know what Im saying? Like do they walk in there and have to pay something, or just send it and say COD?

COD is a 10 dollar charge here (USA), and they charge you whatever it was for the item plus shipping...

say if i was sending you something COD and for some reason you werent there when they delivered it and when you paid they would send the package back to me and charge me for shipping. Thats why most sellers dont like to use COD.

they dont send the package back...they keep it at the office for a week with a note saying your package has arrived. if you dont respond...they send it back and charge the sender
