quick question about bose

i know most people do not like the bose systems installed in many vehicles. i myself do not think it is great by any means but not horrible. my question is. if i change out the factory hu in my escalade with a double din dvd unit and use the proper bose wiring harness, will the sound change at all between the 2 units? i am going to be adding a seperate sub for the lack of lows as well.

The deck has much less to do with the sound than the speakers themselves. On the other hand a nice new deck will likely have a much better eq to tune with. Adding a sub will make a big difference.

In the end though a nice set of comps and a quality amp will make the most improvement.

i understand that about adding comps and amps. but at this time i dont have the time to do all that and i refuse to pay someone to do it. i really dont mind the sound of the bose minus the lack of low end. guess ill just have to try it and see what happens
