Quick question about amps power supply...

My amp's manual says....

Fully regulated, Pulse-Width Modulated power supply assures constant power delivery at all battery voltages between 11.5v and 14.4v
So does this basically mean it not rated at a certain voltage because it maintains it's rated power output at those volts, simular to the Jl 1000/1?

Yeah, even some BOSS amps have regulated PWM power supplies.... And yes the way it works is like this just for an example:

14.4volts drawing 10 amps = 144 watts

12.0volts producing 144 watts = 12 amps

11.0volts producing 144 watts = 13.1 amps

13.0volts producing 144 watts = 11.08 amps

See, as your voltage increases and decreases from your vehicles electrical system, the amplifiers power supply will draw more or less current to produce the same output. Amplifiers that do not have a regulated PWM supply, or ones that have a un-regulated PWM supply, can be fun... run them at 16 volts and you got more power!

Most amps do NOT have a regulated PWM supply. This is great for consistency and sound quality (being regulated supply is great) but to produce more power at higher voltages, like a lot of SPL competitors, unregulated is way to go.
