So, I have been lurking for a bit now and have finnally purchased the system... and wanted to say thanks to everyone who makes this forum informative...

I finally decided on

Eclipse 5000 H/u

MB quart 5.25 qsd front

MB quart qsd 4.0 rears

Eclipse ea4100 4 channel

Eclipse xa 1000 mono

Tc 1000 - sealed enclosure

I'll post pictures as the install progresses / finishes.

Those Tc1000's are a great buy, and sound really well in a sealed enclosure....im sure you're pretty happy.

Thnkas... I think amps are the hardest part to figure out as someone not quite in 'the know'. Headunits... look at price features, read some reviews its easy ... got the CD 5000-- 264 shipped = no brainer. I like the sound of the MB Quarts -- got a good deal = easy. TC-1000 = great reviews for sealed box with tight bass( I listed to a lot of jazz these days) and that is easy... but amps?!? They simply do the same thing. Sure there are diffences but if they are truly doing their designed job then its the most invisible part of the chain.

Chose eclipse line becasue I thought it represented the best value when looking at new amps THD and signal to noise ratio plus the top mounted controll = easier. Plus they look purty. While they are not as sexy as some differing brands, I believe (hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif ) that they will be solid, care free amps...

But then again, what the hell do I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif ?
