quick fiberglass question

ok so Im fiberglassin my box, again. Question is I have 3 compartments, 2 where the sub will be and the middle one where the amp will be. Should I do 5 layers on all of them or could I do 2 or 3 in the middle with out it cracking or something?

From my experience, I would say you should be fine with 3 layers in the middle, if it has a slight curve to it. If its completely flat, it wont be as strong.

If your real worried about it, reinforce where it feels weak, the thumb test usually works. Push hard with your thumb, if it gives, it needs more!!

you don't need it that thick at all in the middle, cause all its going to house is an amp. 2 or 3 is fine.
