Friend's computer hasnt been able to hook up to the internet. Router and modem are both in check, light is on router, computer has the Internet sign in taskbar saying it is connected. When opening IE, it just loads the white screen with suggestions to get internet working. When I went to repair the connection, I saw it was manually configured (prolly to his previous apartments connection set up by the cable company). I know its simple, but I can seem to find out where I go to tell it to automatically detect a different a network so it can connect to that. Anyone got any quick suggestions? Sorry for the stupid question.
