say i had a 12" off brand woofer and i wanted to recone it.

what do i have to look for to make sure it will fit.

like i know if it is a 3.5" coil i need something with a 3.5" coil but like is there anything else i would need to look for? like spec wise?

na i dont have any blown subs yet im saying for the future

You can't just recone any random woofer.

I don't understand what people don't get about this.

It have to be the correct sized VC, the correct ID & OD, near the correct coil height. Correct spider spacing, among dozens of other things.

Unless your speaker is made by one of the internet companies, you're most likely NOT going to recone it. Period.
