Does a headunit need to be grounded twice? I have one ground connected that come from the wiring harness. Is there one that's supposed to go directly to the frame? Thanks for any help

Don't need to, provided you don't have any alternator wine or other noises of the sort. I have my HU grounded in two places: at the harness and another running to the amp under the passenger seat. No harm in running it to the frame if you want.

Ok. Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have any other wires that call for ground but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to mess it up. Like I said, I have the ground chassis wire hooked up through the adapter but no other wires were available.
