Quick answer please.

Don't need to, provided you don't have any alternator wine or other noises of the sort. I have my HU grounded in two places: at the harness and another running to the amp under the passenger seat. No harm in running it to the frame if you want.

Ok. Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have any other wires that call for ground but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to mess it up. Like I said, I have the ground chassis wire hooked up through the adapter but no other wires were available.
