i have a 2004 chevy z71 silverado..

I have to 2 10 jl audio subs and a fosgate 400 watt amp...its not loud..

i know that havin a truck and puttin it under the seat and box and whatnot will kill most the peak performance..but i want to switch out those subs and amps...

I was thinking audiobahn dub series and a 1800 watt amp or memphis audio shit or i was thinkin of an hifonics amp..but i want something loud and clean..i dont know much bout this yet..but i would kinda want name brand shit....help me outt guysss!!!

Audiobahn is a good way to go, rockfard fosgate has really good amps... as far as subs go in depends on how loud you wanna go and how much sq you want... I have FUBR's that don't sound all that great but have a lot of bass... so if you want bass over sound quality, grab a massive sub, high wattage big magnet, and amp your mids and highs to hear the words...

then i don't know what to do for subs :/ i had an s-10 type truck and i put two 12" inch fubr's behind the seat with a 2000 watt amp.. problem is i didn't have nearly enough air movement... so i don't know...

not necessarily, but big magnet means bigger bass in MOST cases... bigger magnet equals more wattage which means more force to draw the cone back creating more bass... the fubr's i have have a 200 ounce magnet... they are only good for once thing though... low bass... nothing in it's category can compete.. if you want sound quality this isn't the sub for you lol... i would look around for some audiobahn 10's, they seem like they would hit hard even though they have a smaller magnet for smaller enclosures like you would need...

Please don't listen to the "psych0ticnemes1" guy, he is a complete moron that has absolutely NO idea what he is talking about.

For killer loud 10's check out Incriminator Audio Lethal Injections. They can be had direct @ Visionary Audio...

LOUD AS HELL and inexpensive!

Uh...I'm gonna have to say no about what this kid is sayin'. Bigger magnets don't =anything majority of them time. How Loud the sub and or the overall SQ depends on the way the sub was built. Magnets play a big part but nothing to the extent it seems he's trying to talk about. The biggest part of how loud your sub will get though is played out in your box build!!!!!! Ask anyone they will agree with me on that one. Also Yeah Incriminator Audio would be a very good choice as well. But like I was saying before Audiobahns are horrible and I don't think you'll get what you want out of them. Try stepping up into the W3 series and or Alpine Type R's or S's. Cause it seems like your trying to keep things cheap and or you don't know anything about Car Audio. Not saying I'm an expert... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But anyways no way with those audiobahns, they'll be okay but they won't get you anywhere where you want to be.
