Question- Short on power wire

I only have 13ft of 0 gauge power wire. I need probably like 20ft or so to run it cleanly under the car and hide it how I wanted to. I wanted to know if I was to stick in a yellow top in the back of the car by the system I would only need like 3-5ft of power wire, right? Then I could use the rest for the big 3?

Then you would need another 40+ feet to connect the battery under the hood...

It would be must cheaper to just buy some more cable. And if this set up is so massive, since you are making such a huge deal out of it, a single run of 1/0 awg probably wont cut it...

It doesnt NEED to be done in 1/0, just like you dont NEED to do the Big Three //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

But if you want to do it correctly, and avoid possible voltage problems later on, then yes. What were you thinking, 4 guage?

Not sure. I have never connected an extra battery but nah I will go with the recommended wire (0gauge).
