Question on running amps at .5 ohms daily

Ok, i'm changing my truck into a competition truck. But its still going to be my daily driver. I'll be running 2 Crunch 3000 Pros at .5 ohms each to one of my 9510s.

My question is what is my solution to daily driving? just adjust my gains down when i'm not at a competiton? Not have the amps on at all?(i will be running a toggle switch to my remote wire to turn the amps on and off) I obviously cant change it to 2 ohm everytime so i'm kind of stuck.

Anyone who has had this problem, help would be GREAT!

why not switch to 2ohm after comps? Have a terminal cup or bolts for each coil, and do the parallel/series thing outside the box, going to the amp, so you can switch it up easy. That's what i'd do, that way I don't have to mess with gains all the time.

well in here lies the problem. I'm running a blowthrough, so my box is going to be completely incased by sheet metal, for security purposes obviously.

EDIT: i guess i could run the VC cups through the front to my cab.
