Question on old school amp

i have an old 2ch amp that i cant figure out whats pos and neg on it, its not marked. The best i could figure out was buy bridgeing and guessing untill it sounded right and figure out from there. Is there a better/ positive way to figure out what is what? Right now i've came up with it's a +- -+ set up.

well the truth is u will get a slight audible difference if u hook them up backwards. I mean it is not really a major problem.

get a voltmeter, and ground it while testing the channels, only do one port at a time, the neg shouldnt really put out ne power unless im very confused.

note the fact that the meter will be jumping due to the fact its not a regulated supply, every time a bass hit comes on it will jump.

o, i forgot to menyion it was powering my subs but now i was going to switch it to power my front components, because i believe its 75x2 at 4 ohms, but thats why i wanted to know
