Question on New Install

1st post here. I have a question on an install I am planning on my 350Z.

I am planning on running Polk SR6500's off of an Alpine PDX 4.100. I am going to run the components bi-amped. If I do this, I am a bit confused on where I should set the filter on the Alpine.

Should I switch the filter off, or filter it at a certain pass? Since the Polks come with crossovers, I was planning on just switching the filter off.

Would this be the correct move?

By the way, I have an AVIC D3 as the headunit and I am planning on getting the custom door pods from WickedCAS as well as dampening the doors with RAAMAT.

Edit: One other question on the Alpine PDX 4.100. Would it be possible to run CH 1 + 2 normally (150Wx2) while bridging Ch 3 + 4 for a Sub? The manual is not clear on this.

Thanks.

if your using cross overs, then yes filter off. If its a low pass filter, I would set it to cut anything below 80 or so. And you can bridge 3-4, but most amps will only run at 4 ohms when doing so. So if your sub is a dvc 2, wired to 4 ohms, it should be good.
