question on dd subs??

Believe it or not, the W7 is HARDLY, even close to the "loudest" sub. You can find it at http://www.thezeb.com, or on ebay.

When you have alot of power and a good sub your box plays the key factor for max db's.

i honestly don't see why everyone bows down to the W7. yes they are a good sub but nothing near the best or loudest. hell i heard a system today that had 2 w7's with a good amp running 1000 to each in a civic hatchback. he said it was all the loudest he's ever heard. so i told him to listen to my system opened my tailgate window showed him my 4 HE2 12"s that i bought yesterday at work in 2 pre-fab boxes b/c i sold my old custom box and he laughed saying no way could i beat him. little did he know my friend who install's system's for SPL put it in and he was impressed thinking mine actually sounded louder. now yes his sounded cleaner but i'm running not even 200 dollar subs he's running a sub that cost's 3 times mine or more! i'm sorry but they aren't as good as they should be in my opinion, i still prefer my old IDMAX over it and i was told the W7 would slam harder and cleaner than the IDMAX i found that not true but i don't have that sub anymore i blew it anyway i would say the DD would be the loudest out there nothing louder according to the world record for a single sub.

what dd was it? what did it hit at? i would say that the jl's are way over rated by far. they spent all this time making them and only reason why it's so popular is b/c of the jl name. too bad it cost your left nut to buy one.

it was the 9500 series i believe. i am not exactly sure which sub it was, i know it was 1 15" that hit i think 170.3 or something close to that. not too bad for 1 sub. and yes they only sell that good b/c it's JL personally i think Jl is overpriced and overrated. the w7 looks and acts a lot like the IDMAX though cost's 2 times as much and isn't near as good in my personal opinion. but that is me and my preference.
