Question: how do I remove the trim panel (I have a '97 Corolla)

Um, so I am a noob with cars with some electronics experience, and I'm trying to install a stereo I just bought. I can't figure out where the clips might be to remove the trim panel. Do I just pry away with a screwdriver?

yes....but be very careful many panels have been cracked by jus pryin' away with a screwdriver. If u can get your hands on a panel puller that'd be best. if not just slide a flathead screwdriver under the panel and move it along the panel until u hit a clip then pry that one out. after the first one it is pretty easy.

k, thanks, i got the panel off, but i can't get disconnect the emergency blinkers and rear window defrost out yet...

most have little plugs that your gonna need a flathead screwdriver to pull apart.
