Question from a noob

Hi all. New here, but I have read quite a bit here and have learned alot. Quick question for some of you gurus.

I just bought a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and installed a Pioneer P5800MP head unit, which I absolutely love.

My plans are to build a good, but budget conscious system consisting of new speakers, a 4 channel amp to run them off of, and eventually a sub and amp for it. I'm having to do this in steps, as I can't afford to plunk down for everything at once.

So I got my head unit, now comes speakers for the doors. I have 6.5s in the front doors and seperate 1 inch tweeters. I've prettymuch decided against component speakers due to price and also because whatever I get will have to be powered by just the head unit for a short time until I can afford an amp.

I've narrowed my search down to these:

Polk DB650

Infinity Reference 6012i

I'll also be using Dynamat around the speakers.

I guess I'm basically trying to get opinions on these speakers and which would be the best to go with. I listen to everything from Miles Davis to Slayer to Talib Qweli to Willie Nelson, so versatility and clarity are my main goals.

I'd also love to hear any alternate suggestions or advice as well, but I really don't want to spend over the $125 dollar mark.

Thanks for any help in advance.
