Wow...mad people in here don't know what they are saying lol.

There's discounts...and then there's accomodations. You have to be employed for 30 days to get either. We get a good discount on Tsunami and Metra products (over 50% off). We get a decent discount on some radios in-store.

Now, for accomodations- we get accomodations on MTX, Kicker, Pioneer, DEI, and Beltronics. You cannot get the 9500's or the 3000w MTX amp through accomodation. As far as Kicker, it's right around 60-70% off MSRP.

The AVIC-N2 is $1195 through accomodations. The 5700DVD is $625.

Exactly. A lot of people don't know what they're talking about i this thread.

To elaborate, employee discounts are on items IN the store...that you buy from your store for a percentage over cost (usually). Like John said, accomodations are purchases directly through the manufacturer. Lots of n00bs don't know about the MTX, Pioneer, Beltronics, DEI accoms/pricelists. They're on CCRoadshop.

Also, forgot to mention Infinity/Harmon Kardon...and Polk Audio. Kicker accoms are the best tho...that's why I use them on my front stage.

Some stuff seems to be 5% over cost, others 10%. Acommos are the best discount, but most stores only allow employees of that department to use the acommos discount, roadshop for example.

I'm actually a roadshop manager at circuit city. Use to be a install supervisor at bestbuy too. But I've been able to order stuff from companys at cost, usually any time I wanted. As a matter of fact, did an install of 2 9500's we ordered for a kid with a civic si (yuck). One of my guys made him a nice ported box and everything. Subs cost him 275 each, 12's. Our guarentee + mtx's. Ours at my store even covers blowouts, and gives you a gift card for how much the subs/speakers cost. I think mtx charged me like 200ish no shipping each.
