question for kicker amp users

Hush, newbie. I've owned Kicker and Rockford. Kicker makes a **** solid amp. Hell, I even had an '04 edition KX700.5 that was taking 1-ohm on the sub channel daily for over a year.

To the OP, It does sound like an overcurrent condiotion, putting it into protect.

What you think is minor clipping (assuming that you're detecting clipping from the ear) is probably more than just minor clipping

while without knowing, looking at it, seems feasible, I would just keep it within limits, and you will be fine

To the OP: I highly doubt the protection light is blinking because of clipping.
