Question concerning bluetooth of Pioneer DEH 9800BT

Hey all.....I recently installed a 9800BT but I am having an issue. If I receive a phone call while the phone is connected to the unit and I decide I dont want to answer via the unit for privacy when someone is with me in the car. What should I do? I tried shutting off the unit but it turns on by itself as soon as the call is received and I even tried removing the faceplate before answering but unfortunately this causes a problem in the convo itself where the 2 sides cant hear each other. So what do you guys do?

hit the source button and it drops the call? i'm not fully understanding what you are asking here. I have the 790BT version.

i always just pull the faceplate, with no problems....
