Question about Warranty...

Dosent every new item come with a manufacturer warranty?...I was looking on ebay and its new in box and everything but it says warranty from the seller but it dosent say if warranty is also with the brand (JVC) but shouldnt it come with that anyways?

DOA (Dead On Arrival) Warranty

* If the item received is defective due to manufacturer error or shipping, it must be reported within the 10 days of receipt of item.

* Eclectic Mart will exchange the unit with a new one and pay for the return shipping.

* Customer is responsible for shipping the defective unit to us.

Generally manufacturers only warranty their products when purchased from authorized dealers, which most Ebay dealers are not.

ah got cha, but my other jvc indash came with manufacturer warranty but the papers for it u have to fill out or go thru jvc themselfs and it was in the box (the papers) shouldnt it come with those papers too?......would you buy it? its gotten nothing but great feedback and its been out since april this year...i searched all over the net and couldnt find one complaint about it.

Does not matter if there is a warrenty card in the box or not without a receipt from an authorized dealer it does nothing. This is why if you buy electronics on ebay you should look at an alternative warrenty (think one is called etrade) or you are SOL if it dies.

o i just saw this at the bottom its called square trade, it says warranty for 3 years, if they cant fix it, they send me a check....etc..........anyone ever heard or used this b4?
