Question about using 1 channel on two channel amp

if its for that 2000x, youll be fine runnin the one sub to one of the 2 channels on that thing. do NOT bridge it at 2 ohms. only use the one channel. youll only be gettin half potential of that amp, but it will work

Gotscha. Will still put out 1000W true watts correct?

Believe Im going to stick it out with the amp and just replace the sub. Makes the most sense from a financial standpoint.

Thanks for the interest man! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

looks pretty clean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif **** you! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif and yes youll get a 1000 watts out of that. and if your electrical isnt too great right now, your probably better off runnin it like that anyway, cause those amps require mad current and it takes current to get current. needless to say, it should all sound just fine.-----Rob

It is really clean man. Has a few blemishes if you look close up. I also broke the lexan shield on the back today trying to get it back in the track. Couldn't pull it out and ended up breaking in two. Put it back in but is it better to run w/o it for cooling purposes?

I have upgraded the elect system as far as big batt under the hood, grounds and kinectic hc800 in the back . Should hopefully hold up alittle for when I run it @2000w im hoping... Till I get my hands on a H/O alt...What do you think?

Sub is dual 1

ok, since the sub is dual 1, just stick with what we were talkin bout. as for cooling, shouldnt get too hot, til u run it at its full potential, then they may become a problem so that may not be such a bad idea. what kind of wire are u runnin throughout?? and u have the big 3 done??

But I will tell you this. Doubt I will be running full tilt for more then a few seconds at a clip. I have KnuKonceptz Kollossus 0guage (300A fuse) throughout w/ grounds and alternator done up with the same wire.

youll be good. once u run another sub to that amp though, since you already have the 800, you can keep that and get a better alt. or maybe a 2400 instead of the 800 with the stock alt. your choice, but may wanna go with the alt first. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif good luck with everything dude----Rob
