Got new box in and well I like it its nasty down low but lacks a lot in the mid range. Box is tuned to 33hz using 3 - 4" aero ports. Now my question is to raise the tuning do you remove length from the aeros or do you add to them? Not gonna make the final decision till my drop in gets here and I give it a go. But if the issue remains after the drop in I am going to raise the tuning to try and regain some of what I lost from my old box. Now if making shorter raises the tuning freq what does removing say an inch raise it too? If adding raises then what does adding a inch do? Started at 33hz remove an inch is it now 36hz? See what I am asking? Any help would be appreciated. Love the lows but miss them mids something awful and being my cars peak is 47hz and me lacking in that range has killed its loudness...
