So I just got back from getting my windows tinted...i like it, but im kinda dissappointed in the work

I dunno if this will dissappear when the tint cures, but i have bubbles in the film on two of my windows.

also, can a shop legally tint the whole windshield? they only did a strip on mine...kinda looks gay

How big are the bubbles?

Sometimes they will disappear and sometimes they won't. It depends on where they are and how large they are generally.

It depends on the laws in your particular state.

IMO a completely tinted windshield looks pretty gay. Just how difficult do you want it to be for you to drive, by the way?

the bubbles arent TOO big...but there are many of them

right above the peak on the house, a little to the left

right on the pillar

this is a bigger bubble than the others

the others are about 1/8" and are clustered together in straight lines (up and down, left and right)

like prowler said, give it a day or two an they will go away, when i had mine done on my regal they said they would dissapear after they completely dry. an FYI your not supposed to roll down your window....

i know im not suppose to roll them down...im not retarted lol

edit: i can see how u think i did, but ZX2 windows dont have anything around the glass when u open the door

its not legal to tint the whole windshield in OH your only allowed to tint 70% IMO that strip should be a little darker, i usually go 5% on the brow

btw from a tinters POV.. thats not a bad job.. i cant really see the bubbles that well from the pics buts its pretty time consuming to get perfect tint on an older vehicle that didn't have any tint prior

as prowler said give it a week then go back if your not satisfied

btw in ohio the rear 3 windows can be as dark as you like... in a week or so when you go to get your tint replaced... you may want to consider darkening up the rear
i think 20% on the rears is fine, i didnt want to go darker because i was afraid of not being able to see at night

but the bubbles are very apparent on the brow when your inside the car...my camera phone couldnt capture them though...but if they are still like that come saturday or so, im gonna have them redo it

it will go away.. my explorer had like 50 bubbles after it came out of the shop, i was shitting in my pants.. one week later, all of them disappeared..

give it some time to cure
