Question about strapping amps...

If i run 2 amps that are strapped capable and each one does 1000w rms @ 1ohm...if i strap them does this mean i will see 2000w RMS @ 2 ohms...or would it still be 2000w @ 1ohm?

correct. your adding impedences together, as well as watts.
