Question about setting amp gain with 2 subs

I got a Kicker ZX 750.1 and 2 Kicker CVR 12s. When I set the amp gain, do I use the RMS of the amp or the RMS of the subs to find out the AC voltage.

amp....subs dont put out wattage (if thats what your tryin to ask)

yeah the RMS for the formula: square root of (RMS x ohm load)
