question about rockford fosgate T112d2 subs

i just got them (2) and im wondering what amp would go best with them....they are 600 W RMS, 1200W max.

and also, when i push down on the top it feels crunchy. many people tell me this means the voice coils are burnt and it can be fixed...is there any thing at all that i can do to it ?? i know it sounds ghetto as hell and stupid, but what about some type of lubricant or maybe scratch off the burnt parts ?? i really have no idea.

oh yah, they were used so i cant take them back but im not trippin cuz i got two 350 dollar subs for 1 pair of 100 dollar jordans.
