Question about removing audio system..

I recently took out my sub box, two amps and capicitor because I really didn't need the system anymore. So now I have a lot more room in my trunk but the problem is my speakers aren't picking up a signal from my headunit. I didn't blow out my speakers and my headunit works. But when I try the radio or play a CD, no sound at all not even static goes through the speakers.

Does anyone know what I need to do behind the headunit or to the speakers to pick up the signal? Thanks.

Afe the speakers hooked up to the head unit?
I'm not sure. I just disconnected everything from the amps and took the sub box out. There were four plugs in the back of my head unit that ran to my amps, those were for my speakers. Now the only thing connected to my headunit is the antenna plug and factory plug wit about 10 wires or so.

I fixed it. I had to cut and reconnect 8 wires.. the pos and neg for each of the 4 speakers from the amp plugs back to the wires that connect into the factory clip.
