question about re se's

ok i have one 10" se in a sealed box and am woundering if there will be a real diffrence if i add another one. there in the manufatures reccomendation box. each getting 400 rns watts, untill i get a new 1200 rms amp i love the way it sound just need it to be louder

adding another will make them louder when you get the new amp... also try ported

depends, not likely... twice as loud is a 6db gain i think... adding another woofer is only a 3db gain in theory, and thats if you double power too

ways to get louder using power and subs.(BESIDES porting the box)

in theory:

double the number of subs +3db

double the amount of power +3db

double both subs and power +6db

give the SE more power..id say 800-900 is the best..i fed mine 1000 daily for about 6 months and never had one problem. also yea as someone said before me..try a ported box...with a ported box and more power i think you would be satisfied....btw great choice in subs shoulda never let mine go.

how big was the se u sent 1000 for daily? mabye ill feed each 700rms

you will have doubled power AND subs. around +6 for you.

port 'em low and you'll love them even more!

mine were 12"s

but yes definately port them tuned to 30 i would recommend..maybe 32 is you want a little more output
