Question about Ohm's

If I have 3 dual 4 ohm subs and wire them for 2 ohm's each and wire them all in parallel will that give the amp a 1 ohm mono load? No, three Dual 4ohm woofers wired as you say would drop you below a 1ohm load.

However, after imp rise you might be bakc near 1ohm.

2.67 or .67 are your two options, IIRC

I'm interested in an amp that will output 1000 watts rms with a 1 ohm load. What should the ohm's be per sub if I used 2 speakers instead?

What subs, sealed or ported, how much space do you have to work with?

And Two subs wired for 2ohms each will give you a 1ohm final load
