???? Question about mysterious amp ????????

There's a kid that lives in a town about 15 miles from me that's got an amp. One of the kids I work with went over and looked at it just because, and told me it was a pretty good sized amp, silver, said 2000 on it (watts), and also had the word Merlin on it... HE also said it was in decent condition with only a couple scratches on it.... I'm going to go over tolook at it next wednesday, but if it's an older US amps merlin, what should I offer for it? And does anyone know the power output of one of these?

Btw, I'll bring my camera when I go so I'll get pics.

But I was thinking older US Amps amps were pretty good....... correct me if I'm wrong...

I still don't know what it looks like, because the kid I work with was the one who seen it. I'm going to go look at it next wednesday. Did US amps, or any other company that anyone knows of make an amp with merlin written on it? Besides the one that alxmlr789 posted. And what kind of power does that US amps put out?

That would be what I saw. Forgot the spelling though... should have remembered Merlon even though they called them Merlin:laugh:

ETA: I don't see anything that will give me more power than my 25 to Life Punch 150 bridged to my dd1010 or my TIPS modified 1502IQ that I am running on the components in my Civic. Better eh?

I have been seeing this brand pop up for a little while now.

People are showing up at the shop w/ em...say they are coming from Houston.

The subs are JUNK. Seen quite a few people come in pricing DD2515's and then show up a week or so later w/ the Merlin 15's. A dam pair of DD512's would kill em...lol. But they say something like "2000w" on em, so the morons are eating em up like candy.

Lol. That's probably what it is. Does anyone have any ratings on that thing? And would it be worth offering 20 for it? Haha.
