Question about my phoenix gold subs

I got a pair of 12" phoenix gold titanium elite subs awhile back but have not yet had the chance to get my enclosures done for them. My question is how do I tell which cone I have? Whether its the spl or sq? Also, I see that they are a very inefficient sub and its rated at 1200 rms. So should I be putting more like 1500rms to each one? Also, where can I get the different cones at now since they have been discontinued?

The elite comes with the regular cone. You have to buy the spl cone seperately. The spl cone is jet black. As for power, they like to see 1500 or more each. btw you dont want the spl cone unless you want a giant midbass driver... Sounds like crap for daily usuage..
