I have a JBL power 10, I was wondering how i should run the wires. I have 12gauge wire and i cant fit 2 wires into the same hole for parallel. I was told you shouldn't solder in car audio because solder has to much resistance. So do i run small gage wire or is there a y-thingy? My amp will be putting out 1000watt rms (memphis)

Right.... Anyone with the correct answer?

Lots of people run single subs at 1 Ohm, i want to run mine at 1 ohm. Therefore a with any 1 ohm mono amp, ide need to know this. Thanks though

Yea but its underrated, ive had alot of ppl tell me 600-800. Also thats what my built guy (he recommended sub, hit 147 with 2 of the 12s last comp) also said. Has a max of 1200. Plan on have the bass boost turn basically off

As for the 12ga speaker wire, it is overkill for the power you are using. You can downsize your wire. Or you can solder the wires together, as I said above.
