question about FI car audio subs

okay im about to order i think an FI Q but i dont know if i should get dual 2 or dual 1 ohm im going to to be running it on a hifonics brutus 1600 watt or a kicker zx1000 if i can afford it. also i dont know what BP power is it worth the extra $40?

On the BP, depends on the power you will push to it, for those amps, I would. As for VC. The kicker is rated at 2 ohm so you want dual1 coils for that but the hifonics is rated at 1 ohm so doul want dual 2 coils.

get the kicker and get a d1 Q. you'll be more efficient running it at 2 ohms, plus you know the kicker will do rated power.

You don't buy nice subs when you don't know what various VC options mean, or when you aren't smart enough to look on the site to figure out what the BP option is.
