my buddy has 2 amps.

1. is a Nine.2x

2. is a nine.2

what is the diffrence between the 2?

my guess is the X is newer

they both look the same, just the x is bigger and as more of a draw, ( 3 30 amp fuses on it..)

Model Name : NINe.2 Amplifier

RMS Power @ 12.5v : 2 x 100W @ 4 Ohm, 2 x 200W @ 2 Ohm

RMS Power (Bridged) @ 12.5v : 1 x 400W @ 4 Ohm

And the Nine.2X is larger

the nine.2x puts out about 100w or 200w more (depending on how you run it) than the nine.2
