question about dual 4 ohm voice coils

thats how i wired my other subs (dual 4), and it blew them up. I know the ones that i have now are 6 ohms, but should I be worried?

Wiring has nothing to do with blowing a sub... Wiring only raises or lowers the impedance that the amplifier "sees", causing it to give out more/less power. You most like blew your other speakers by overpowering them, or by clipping the amplifier badly. Wiring it like this does not cause harm, if you know how to properly set the gain on your amplifier. Check out the gain tutorial Sticky in the amplifier forum.

And for the future, if you fvck these subs up, dont buy more Audiobahn crap... Its not upgrading.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah, that's what I meant..."hence driving a channel to each vc with a 4 ohm load and getting 65 watts RMS".
Two channels per sub, so 135 each.
Sorry, I read and re-read to try and find out if you were saying what I was but I just didn't catch it.
