Question about doubling MDF. how will it effect tuning?

Okay i have a box design, but i think i want to double up two pieces of MDF on the front side of the box for the subs. So i will be using a hair of volume (.75") inside the box. Will i be okay if i do this, or is it going to throw everything off? The original design was 3.5 cubes at 32.

if you stick the piece on top of the baffle it will not change anything internally. if you add the piece internally, it would change a little, probably .4 cu ft, and like 1 hz or so.

with 3.5cubes it will change max 1-2hz as ^^^^^said

if i add the piece externally its going ot increase the port length by .75". will that be less of a change then if i add an internal piece?

you can subtract .75 from the port then
