Question about DD HU GPS thingy wiring stuff.

I'm looking at purchasing the JVC KW-AVX740 (can't post a link, sorry) I was just wondering since it has video and optional GPS and stuff, is there anything I have to do differently with the wiring? I'm not really interested in hooking GPS up since I have a phone that is capable of that. I just want to be able to watch movies and listen to music. All that jazz. Would I wire it up just like a normal headunit?

Any information would be appreciated.
