i dont see anything wrong with it. you dont have to sell everything for what you pay for it. some things you sell for less and some you sell for more and some the same price you paid. maybe it is an item that is becoming rare or very desireable.

Like I said, I can understand the other side of the argument, but the Mickey Mantle card argument is not really all that realistic.

I bought a 12" Kicker Solo-X for $170 on craigslist and tried to sell it and make some profit and caught a lot of shit for it from a bunch of members on here. If somebody owns an item they can sell it for whatever price they see fit, whether it's $50 or $500. They aren't forcing anybody to buy it from them.

Does anyone else consider it bad taste to buy something from someone on the forums here and then try and resell the item for nearly double the price paid? Just wondering, not going to mention any names...

Quit being such a ****. Sorry but you don't get to set people's prices, they will charge what they want and if somebody wants to buy they will, if not...oh well. If you are not buying the item why do you give two shits?

no but there are a million other examples out there. here are a couple "realistic" examples.

ok you buy a pack of cards at the store and get an adrian peterson game used jersey card tht is numbered 1/3 and you paid 3bux for the pack of 10cards. so you paid 30 cents for it. and its book value is 800. you would sell that card for 30 cents then right?

you find a nice os amp at a flea market for 10 bux and you know its worth around over 200. you would sell it for 10?
