Question about caps

Ok, I have a yellowtop a stock alternator (105 amp) and have done the big 3 ith 4G wire. I dont really have any problems with dimming or anything. A friend of mine gave me a cap and I do understand that it is rather useless and serves no real function. I do though, like how it looks. I know you need to ground it and everything but I have 0G run from my batteries pos and neg to the trunk and use distro blocks. Can I connect the pos and neg to the cap first and then ground through the cap? Like this

Can I do that. or should I run another wire back from the battery or just ground the cap or amps to the car?

hell if you want the look just put some wires into to make it look like its wired. Dont even really wire it up though lol

What will the cap be grounded to? your ground should be to the body of the car. There is no need for the thing at all. Just a waste of install time. Like the look of a rear battery instead

u should have ur amps grounded in the trunk of ur car . the ground wire has to be as short as possible. and it would be better just to ground them seperatly

as for rear battery look, more expensive. and im one of those *****es who like leds and such.

thank you. I've been told to have the ground wires under 3'. i was also told that if i ground to the batter it will 1 be a better ground and 2 it wouldent matter how long the ground wire is... is this true?

is there anything wrong with grounding them to the front battery though? or should I remove this wire and change a few things. and also what the heck is your avatar? is that teddy bear holding a shotgun?

yes it is its from fullmetal panic. i would remove it and use shorter runs . in the trunk . and with the left over 0ga i would change the big 3

Are you showing your shit off that much? The thing will sit in your trunk. Set it and forget it. Sounds like you don't believe the many that say the thing serves no purpose. It is a Placebo
