I am considering building a ported box for my kicker CVR. Where could I get some decent free plans to build one?

Also how much does it usually cost to build a single 12" sub box?

your better off having someone on here build you one to the specs of the sub.

nah go to lowes or home depot watever and buy 4x8 sheet of mdf... Its like 20-25 bucks + 8 for glue + screws or if you got clamps... theres a sticky with box plans under box/plans thread...

Do not buy a prefab box. Build your own if you can, if not, find something to build it for you.

And yes, there are some free plans stickied at the top of the enclosure section.

I am a fan of the vented enclosures, but the cvr is recommended for between 1 and 4.6 ft^3 sealed enclosures...i would go larger than 1.25(actually wouldn't use sealed but if this is what you want...)

I wanted to go ported at first actually but someone said it would sound bad?

Alright will do.

If its to much I am going to try building one myself I guess.

Which of those free plans should I use? I am going to try ported first then if I dont like it ill get a sealed.

Ok screw it I am building one myself.

Ok so I need wood from home depot (I can get them to cut it to the right sizes for me I think)

then box terminals, screws, and what kind of glue do I need?
