Question about a box build

Hey guys, I'm very new to the whole car audio thing and I need some help. I currently have a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL. The trunk is very large depth wise, but up against the seats is only about 13" high. I have looked up many standard box sizes for 2 12"s and they are often times 16"+ as far as height goes. These boxes won't fit in my trunk, so I need another option. I am also probably going to need a custom box, due to the height constraint. What are my options as to how I can fit the 2 12"s in the trunk? I don't need any trunk space so any option is completely fine, even if it takes up the entire trunk.

If it matters, I'm going to be using kicker subs, most likely the l7 12"s. I know kicker isn't a very high quality sub, but I have a connection at kicker and I get their equipment for dirt cheap. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated. I would also like to hear people's opinions on the best custom box site for the money. Thanks in advance!

Will a wedge work tapered down to 13 and 15 or so at the face. If these options are not available a low profile box will work at 13". You also could fire the subs up if the trunk opening will allow the box to fit. This guy had no options so I built his box inside his trunk
